| Duties / Roles / Activities: |
The Orangeville Food Bank is an Emergency Food Bank that was founded 30 years ago and has continuously evolved to meet the needs of our community. It is a collaborative effort to provide food support with compassion and dignity. The Board is responsible for organizational, governance, strategic plan implementation, policy development, financial oversight, advocacy, fundraising support, committee participation, and Executive Director support/guidance. Directors serve a two-year term and are eligible for reappointment to serve a total of three terms. Directors are expected to attend monthly evening Board meetings, sit on at lease one committee, attend the Annual General Meeting and support Orangeville Food Bank community events. |
