Why you might want to consider taking this opportunity: As senior's age their worlds can become a little smaller/they may feel more isolated. This program is an opportunity for clients to connect with volunteers/their peers on a regular basis while eating a healthy meal together. Weekly lunch visits will take place in clients’ homes, will be social in nature, and will foster new friendships, and sharing. Great learning opportunity for volunteers as there will be workshops/training sessions prior to the start of the program. If you would enjoy sharing lunch with/brightening a senior's day we would love to hear from you.
