Volunteer type position is suitable for:

Duties / Roles / Activities: We are looking for a volunteer with basic woodworking abilities who is willing to bring their own tools to the farm to help us with some simple woodworking tasks.
Examples of projects;
- cutting pieces for basic benches for our forest trail
- prepping and cutting bird house and bat house building kits (so the participants can practice their hammer and nail skills by building them)
All plans, measurements and materials needed will be provided by Fiddlehead Care Farm. We just need your knowledge, energy and tools.
Projects can be completed at home but we appreciate if you would do some on-site demonstrations for our participants so our clients can see you in action! (Currently Thursday and Friday mornings between 10:00am-11:00am would be optimal time for the demo.)
