Volunteer type position is suitable for: | |
Duties / Roles / Activities: | Assist the group in finalizing, implementing and reviewing our existing fundraising strategy and action plan including sponsorships, events and grants. Coordinate and facilitate fundraising meetings. Check in regularly with members of various subcommittees to facilitate progress and accountability on action items, focus efforts to reach goals, and report to HFFA membership at meetings (approx. 5 per year, typically daytime). Where needed, work with subcommittees to identify new potential revenue streams, funders, donors and sponsors. Participate in fundraising activities and special events as appropriate. Share fundraising expertise with HFFA committee. |
Sample Tasks: | Emails, phone calls, in-person meetings (Orangeville), research, maintenance of action plan, coordinate fundraising efforts. |
