Why you might want to consider taking this opportunity: Although previous knowledge is not required, our volunteers should have a passion for gardening and pollinator protection. Training can be provided on site. All volunteers are free to attend meetings and social functions. Their opinions are valued and every suggestion is welcomed. Participation in all aspects of the Garden are encouraged. As a result, you will become a better ecological gardener and can transfer that knowledge to your own home environment.

Volunteer type position is suitable for:

Duties / Roles / Activities: The Maintenance Group typically works twice a week in the morning. This is the only group with a regular schedule. Other groups will have intermittent schedules and working sessions will be called from time to time.
Sample Tasks: Maintenance includes: weeding, planting, mulching, watering, dividing/transplanting, maintaining plant health, and assisting other groups from time to time.
