Volunteer type position is suitable for:
  • Adult (18 +)
Duties / Roles / Activities: Responsibilities
- Attend board orientation after election/appointment to the Board of Directors to ensure the functions of the Board are understood
- Maintain regular meeting attendance. Meetings are typically held from September –June on the 1st Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
- Participate in the organization’s committees, fundraising and outreach activities
- Represent the organization in a professional and confidential manner while in the community

Sample Tasks: Our Board of Directors consists of up to 12 volunteer Directors, who each serve a minimum 1-year term. The Board meets for two hours on the first Wednesday of every month. Members are also asked to volunteer three to five hours per month on various committees. Members attend events and act as ambassadors of our organization.
