Duties / Roles / Activities: - On-site event preparation and clean-up
- Greeting and guiding participants
- Providing demonstrations
- Maintaining quality of plantings
- Engaging and assisting participants
- Practicing and encouraging a safe work environment
- Taking photos and/or sharing the event on social media
- Encouraging a positive atmosphere

- Interest in nature or the environmental sector
- Previous volunteer experience and/or working in a customer service role a strong asset
- Desire to help and gain leadership skills
- Enthusiasm for conservation and climate change action
- Confidence leading groups and interacting with the public
- First aid training an asset
- Vulnerable sector screening required
