Dufferin-Caledon

Bob Gordanier, a farmer from Orangeville and former president of the Beef Farmers of Ontario, is the Ontario Liberal Party candidate for Dufferin—Caledon. 

Bob is a former police officer and firefighter in Peel Region. 

He is the past president of the Beef Farmers of Ontario, a former executive member of the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association, and served on the boards of the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency, the Dufferin Cattleman’s Association, Feeder Financing, the Agricultural Adaptation Council, and the Beef Cattle Research Committee.
 
Bob spent three years at Port Credit Police Department and a year with the Peel Regional Police Force before serving the Brampton Fire Department for 32 years. 

He and his wife, Elsie, have four adult children and six grandchildren. He was born in Orillia and has farmed in the Orangeville area since 1981. He received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Award in 2012 for service to the community.
