Volunteer type position is suitable for:
  • Adult (18 +)
  • Business/employer supported group
Duties / Roles / Activities: We have two shifts 8 am – 12 pm and 3:00 – 7:00 p.m and place calls 365 days a year.

Working with a team of volunteers and staff, to deliver the daily scheduled telephone calls to adults aged 55+ registered for a a daily check-in ensuring their well-being, safety, and linking them with support when required.
Sample Tasks: From the TeleCheck office at 25 Centennial Road, Unit#1, Orangeville, (or remote during COVID-19) you will work in a team environment, providing a friendly call to registered adults aged 55+ and caregivers. If there is a concern, you will refer the call to staff to support. Prepare brief and confidential documentation on a computerized data base to demonstrate call was completed/placed to TeleCheck client.
