The Osprey Valley Open is a major professional golf tournament held each July at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley. The event is part of the Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada, a series of 12 tournaments played from coast-to-coast in Canada where up-and-coming professional golfers from around the world compete to advance one step closer to the PGA Tour.
Held from July 8-14, the 2019 Osprey Valley Open will see 156 players compete in a 72-hole competition for a $200,000 purse and points in the season-long race to earn a promotion to the Web.com Tour, professional golf's second-highest level.
The Osprey Valley Open requires volunteers in areas such as walking scorers, player transportation, marshals, attendance and many more. The event aims to hold a world-class sporting event in the Caledon area while making a significant impact for the local community. In 2018, the event donated $50,000 to three local charities and generated significant economic activity from the hundreds of players, spectators, visiting family and friends and many more.
