Hospice Dufferin is a community charity organization that has been serving the residents of Dufferin since 1984. Hospice Dufferin provides a variety of services for individuals living with a life-limiting illness, their caregivers and people experiencing bereavement. Some of the services we offer include: individual counselling, wellness programs, one-to-one volunteer visits, legacy support, hats/wigs, and information from our large resource library. The clients we work with are amazing and inspiring people who teach us something new every day. As a small organization we are grateful for the support of our volunteers who make it possible to provide the best service possible for our clients. We offer a variety of opportunities for volunteers and strive to meet the needs of our clients AND our volunteers. If you would be interested in learning more about the organization check out our website, www.hospicedufferin.com. If you are interested in learning more about the volunteer opportunities offered and how you can help, contact Brianna Brown, Program and Volunteer Coordinator, by phone (519-942-3313 ext. 2) or e-mail (bbrown@hospicedufferin.com). "As far as service goes, it can take the form of a million things. To do service, you don't have to be a doctor working in the slums for free, or become a social worker. Your position in life and what you do doesn't matter as much as how you do what you do." Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
